1975
ebm is formed by the businessmen E. Gartmann, A. Große Wördemann, W. Korte-Termöllen, A. Schmiemann and W. Tempelmeyer
1981
Relocation to the company’s own building in Karmannstraße in Osnabrück
1991
Founding of the Schwarzheide branch
1995
The second construction phase of the company’s building is completed punctually for the company’s 20th anniversary
1999
Promotion prize for exemplary commitment in the field of health protection, vocational training and youth welfare
2000
ebm supplies on time for the opening of Expo 2000 its first parking guidance and information system developed by the company itself on an ultrasonic basis for car parks from (8,000 parking spaces in two multi-storey car parks) and is thus the only skilled craftsmen’s business in the region that was allowed to perform work for the EXPO.
2002
Promotion prize for special achievements in the field of innovation: this was occasioned by the development of the automatic dewatering control system for Münster/Osnabrück Airport (the control system for six partly underground rainwater retention basins with appropriate pumping stations for proper disposal of the surface water from the apron) as well as for the runway.
2004
After almost 30 years of active involvement, the Manager Director Lothar Finke hands over control to Andreas Ennen. The change of command is completed officially on 23.1.2004.
2006
Founding of the Bureau de Liaison in Colmar (France)
2007
ebm punctually completes the whole electrical installation – including the effect lighting and control system – for Germany’s most modern casino. Construction time: ten months, order volume: approx. 4.5 million euros.
2010
Founding of the southern branch in Donaustauf near Regensburg. ebm is 35 years old.

The first company headquarters at Karmannstraße 13 in Osnabrück, shortly after the formation of the company in 1975.
